OFTEN ON AN UNCUT PATH: Fine Art Photograph

Wildlife photographer, Rowan Nyman, offers his painterly image of a bison in winter OFTEN ON AN UNCUT PATH as photographic prints on metal or gallery wrapped canvas. “This image is a favorite of mine because of its location in Yellowstone National Park. I have always loved the way a fresh snow lights upon the textured bark of lodgepole pine. Throw in a massive bull bison, and it is a recipe for photographic goodness.”

 WILDLIFE & WILD MOMENTS

“Living in the same neck of the woods as Yellowstone National Park has allowed me to experience the power of the natural world. My stomping ground is home to black bears and grizzly bears, big horn sheep, bison, elk, fox, moose, otter and wolves, to name but a few. I have spent many hours watching these creatures hunt, mate, roam and play across the landscape. Sometimes… awareness, patience and respect offer the gift of a rare moment of connection between species. The intense emotion in a predators eyes, half obscured by lodge pole pines, is unforgettable. If I am very, very lucky, this is captured with my camera, and the humility I experience in the face of the wildness of these creatures is conveyed in my images.”
